This tour has the perfect mix of diverse scenery, cultural sites, dramatic coastlines, overnight stays in cosy accommodation and of course the best of Irish craft beer coupled with great food.

Dublin City to Kilkenny
Pick-up at Holiday Inn, O’ Connell St at 8:45 am.
Visit the Rock of Dunamase – a completely off the beaten track heritage site. The stunning views of the surrounding countryside make it well worth the stop. Our first brewery visit is a terroir tour at Ballykilcavan brewery. Join David on a guided walk around the farm, barley field and hop garden, where he grows the ingredients used to make Ballykilcavan beers. Enjoy an artisan food pairing with the beers.
Get ready for a brewery highlight at Whitefield! Meet Cuilan Loughnane — owner, brewer, and storyteller, as well as a true Irish brewing pioneer. Enjoy his beers matured in French and American virgin oak, as he shares his story and passion for local ingredients and uncompromising quality in his distinctive brewing style.
Time in Kilkenny to enjoy this mediaeval city. Go back in time and explore Ireland’s Medieval Mile, linking the 13th century St. Canice’s Cathedral to the Anglo-Norman Kilkenny Castle. Overnight at Langton’s hotel right in town to enjoy the excellent pubs and restaurants. Paris Texas for gastro pub food & music, O’ Sullivans taproom for craft beers and pizza/wings, Tynans on the Bridge for old character pub and Cleere’s for the traditional Monday night trad music session running for 30 years.

Kilkenny To Kenmare
Visit Cahir castle, one of the largest Anglo Norman castles in Ireland.
Macroom Buffalo farm – Dorothy will teach us all about buffalo farming, cheese making and serve us delicious tastings.
Travel west to the kingdom of Kerry. Visit Tom Crean’s brewery in the beautiful town of Kenmare.
Overnight at Lagom Townhouse in the heart of Kenmare in a picturesque and colourful little town on the Ring of Kerry. The evening will be free to enjoy the many restaurants and pubs of Kenmare with live traditional music.
Recommendation: Lagom restaurant or No 35 for restaurant style. P.F McCarthys or Davitt’s for pub grub.

Kenmare To Dingle
Visit Killarney National Park and Torc waterfall. There are a few options:
- Take a horse and carriage ride around the lakes to visit Muckross Abbey. (€20pp)
- Visit Muckross House, a beautiful Victorian mansion built in 1843. (€9)
- Hike in the park.
- Visit the Gardens (free)
Heading out on the Dingle peninsula, we will make a stop at Inch Beach. This long flat stretch of beautiful sands and shallow waters is perfect for swimming. Lunch at the historic South Pole Inn.
Tour Dick Mac’s brewery in Dingle which is one of Ireland’s most charming towns and is a highlight for many. It’s a bright and colourful town packed with local arts and crafts shops with a pub thrown in at every opportunity.
Overnight in Tower View guesthouse in Dingle for 2 nights. Enjoy a choice of award-winning restaurants, pubs and live traditional music. The craic agus ceol (fun and music) is always flowing in Dingle.
Recommendation: Out of the Blue or Doyle’s for restaurant style. Fish Box or James Long’s for casual food.

Dingle Day
Enjoy one of Ireland’s most scenic drives along the Slea Head Drive, with plenty of stops for photos and breathtaking views. Visit the very edge of Ireland before calling into West Kerry Brewery — Ireland’s most westerly brewpub. This hidden gem is run by Adrienne, the Brewster, an artist at heart who infuses her garden botanicals into her unique brews.
The afternoon is yours to explore Dingle, with plenty of ways to spend your time:
• Sea Safari – A fantastic way to experience Dingle Bay’s marine life, caves, and islands. Book online for the afternoon slot (from 2pm)
• Tour Dingle Distillery – Pre-book online to enjoy this local whiskey experience.
• Coastal Walks – Take in a walk on Dingle Bay and its stunning scenery at your own pace.
• Shopping & Tasting – Browse local arts and crafts, and don’t miss a scoop (or two) of Murphy’s Ice Cream.

Dingle to Clare
Travel up and over the stunning Dingle Peninsula, taking in the dramatic coastal views and plenty of photo stops.
Stop in Adare for coffee and a stroll through one of Ireland’s prettiest villages, famous for its charming thatched cottages.
Continue to Limerick, the Treaty City, for toasties and beer tastings at Treaty City Brewery, housed in a 250-year-old building beside St. John’s Castle in the medieval quarter.
End the day at Lahinch Ocean Suites on the Wild Atlantic Way, a relaxed seaside village with cosy pubs and excellent local restaurants — the perfect spot to unwind.

Lahinch to Dublin
A trip to Ireland would not be complete without a visit to the Cliffs of Moher. Standing 214m (702 feet) high, the cliffs stretch for 5 miles along the Atlantic coast. O’ Brien’s Tower has served as a viewing point for hundreds of years. You’ll be able to take a walk on the ‘wild side’, to get the true cliff experience and witness the Wild Atlantic waves majestically break below the cliffs.
Last brewery visit to Liam at Dead Centre Brewing. Smack bang in the centre of Ireland sitting on the River Shannon, we learn more about brewing and lunch in the brewery.
Last stop, it’s only right we visit the oldest pub in Ireland Seáns bar in Athlone.
Drive time back to Dublin, drop off approx. 5:30pm to the Holiday Inn on O’ Connell St.
The Route
This 6 Day Tour sets off from Dublin en route to Kilkenny City via the stunning Rock of Dunamase, where you’ll get stunning views across seven counties.
On Day 2 we’ll journey to County Kerry, stopping off at the wonderful Cahir Castle in County Tipperary. After a night in Kenmare we’ll be enjoying Killarney National Park before heading to Dingle.
Enjoy the stunning surrounds of Dingle over two nights, this is always a tour highlight. Visit West Kerry Brewery on the infamous Slea Head drive. Free time to get out on Dingle Bay or enjoy this charming town.
Next up… the heritage town of Adare in County Limerick and then on to County Clare. The route will involve a stop at the majestic Cliffs of Moher. Stay overnight in the coastal village of Lahinch, before returning to Dublin.
