About Us
Our Story
At Brewery Hops, we believe that Ireland has so much to offer visitors. From its blossoming craft beer breweries to its many local food producers and whiskey industries that have popped up in recent years.
When it comes to food and drink, Ireland has truly reinvented itself in recent years.
We aim to deliver as immersive an experience as possible. That is why all our tours are small group, with a max of 16 guests. This allows our guests to properly meet the local producers shaking up the industry.
We are also deeply passionate about Irish culture and history and love sharing it with our guests. So besides visiting an abundance of heritage sites on tour, you’ll also be kept entertained en route with stories of Irish history and events.
It’s worth mentioning we also like to travel in style and comfort. Which is why all our tours use a Mercedes 16 seater Sprinter. Perfect for cruising around those Irish backroads and soaking in the stunning scenery.
About Mia Tobin

Brewery Hops driver guide & owner, Mia Tobin is an accredited National tour guide and has plenty of experience in guiding tours all over the island of Ireland, both North and South for the last 10 years. She knows all the off the beaten track routes. As many of the breweries are located in small towns and rural areas, this gives great scope for seeing the Irish countryside whilst still hitting the hotspots like the Rock of Cashel, Kinsale, Killarney, Dingle, Cliffs of Moher, the Burren….
Prior to discovering how wonderful an office behind the wheel driving the by-roads of Ireland and stopping to marvel at how beautiful our little island is, Mia worked for a large global tour operator whilst spending a year in Canada. Her passion is to travel and she has spent much time meandering around the world. In between these many jaunts she did try to toe the Corporate line but always pined for a bit more fun, fulfilment and travel whilst working.
She has found the perfect combination in organising and delivering craft beer and whiskey tours of Ireland and will offer a comprehensive guided tour embracing Irish history, culture, music, unique food and drink experiences whilst enjoying the carefully chosen scenic route.
